Both Marske Reservoir and Hutton Rudby Ponds have benefitted from a fish stocking from the Environment Agency Fish Farm at Calverton this morning (Friday 05th December) with a number of species allocated to the reservoir and the back pond at Hutton totalling around 2000 fish.
Marske Reservoir received 500 Roach, 250 Bream, 187 Tench while Hutton Rudby ponds received 375 Rudd, 300 Roach, 200 Bream, 187 Crucian Carp
The stocking of these fish was made possible by income from rod licence sales. Thanks to the staff from Calverton and our local Fisheries Officer, Amy. Plans are in place to source & stock further fish for both venues.
